Job description
As an Apprentice, you will become a part of a experienced team from day one. You will gain knowledge and experience in all aspects of childcare and education, which will support you in gaining your qualification to a high standard. You will have the opportunity develop your skills in care, planning and assessment, safeguarding, Prevent, SEND, EYFS and Equality and Diversity.
Day-Day Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in daily nursery activities, assisting with age-appropriate learning experiences for children.
- Help create and maintain a positive and stimulating environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive.
- Work under the guidance of senior staff members to develop your knowledge and skills in early childhood education.
- Join in with all aspects of nursery life, including engaging in play, supporting meal times, nap times, and outdoor activities.
- Maintain a professional attitude by respecting and adhering to confidentiality agreements, particularly regarding sensitive information about children and families.
- Understand and follow nursery policies and procedures, especially around safeguarding and child protection.
- Embrace the understanding that every child is unique, respecting their individual needs, preferences, and learning styles.
