Day-Day Responsibilities:
- Support the care, learning and development of children aged 3 months to 5 years.
- Develop your understanding of children's development, individual needs and learning through play.
- Build positive, caring and respectful relationships with children and their families.
- Support children with age-appropriate activities and experiences that encourage their development.
- Help create a safe, welcoming, stimulating and inclusive environment.
- Support the supervision and care of children in accordance with nursery policies and procedures and under appropriate guidance.
- Develop an understanding of how to provide a warm, nurturing and consistent environment for babies and young children.
- Support children to develop their communication, social, emotional, physical and cognitive skills.
- Encourage positive behaviour and help children develop confidence and independence.
- Support children with additional needs and work with experienced colleagues to promote their welfare and development.
- Assist with observations and records relating to children's learning and development.
- Develop your understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and how this is implemented within the nursery.
- Follow safeguarding, confidentiality, health and safety and other nursery policies and procedures.
- Assist with maintaining a clean, safe and stimulating environment for children.
- Support the wider nursery team with appropriate housekeeping and daily duties.

At Twisty Tails Pinner, we welcome children from 3 months to 5 years. Our nursery is divided into two carefully designed rooms: a baby room for children aged 3 months to 2 years and a preschool room for children aged 2 to 5 years. Each space is open, engaging, and designed to support learning through play and exploration.
Our experienced team holds a range of qualifications, including Early Years degrees, Montessori diplomas, and Level 2 and Level 3 childcare qualifications. All staff receive ongoing training in safeguarding, first aid, and professional development. We are proud to hold Millie’s Mark certification, which confirms that all members of our staff team are fully trained and hold valid paediatric first aid qualifications, ensuring the highest standards of safety and care for all children.
