We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Apprentice Early Years Educator to join our friendly early years team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to build a rewarding career working with children and develop their knowledge, skills and experience within a nursery or early years setting.
As an Apprentice Early Years Educator, you will work alongside experienced practitioners to support the learning, development, care and wellbeing of children.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage children's learning and development.
- Provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children.
- Support children's development through play, exploration and everyday learning opportunities.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
- Observe and support children's individual learning and development needs.
- Assist with planning and documenting children's learning and progress.
- Support children's personal care, including mealtimes, toileting and hygiene where appropriate.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing procedures at all times.
- Support the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Work as part of a team to provide high-quality care and education.
- Take part in training, development activities and your apprenticeship learning.
- Develop your knowledge and understanding of child development and effective early years practice
