Childcare Apprenticeship – Reading

Join a welcoming Montessori bilingual nursery where children are encouraged to learn through exploration, independence and play. Working alongside experienced Early Years professionals, you will develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to become a qualified Early Years Educator while supporting children from birth to five years old.

You will gain practical experience in delivering high-quality childcare, supporting children's learning and development, promoting positive relationships, and creating engaging learning environments inspired by the Montessori approach. You will also experience how bilingual learning helps children develop communication skills and confidence.

As an Early Years Educator Apprentice, you will:

• Support children's learning, development and wellbeing through planned play and daily activities.
• Assist in creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive Montessori learning environment.
• Encourage children's independence, curiosity and confidence through age-appropriate activities.
• Support children's communication and language development, including within a bilingual environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
• Observe children's progress and contribute to learning journals and development records.
• Help prepare activities that promote physical, emotional, social and intellectual development.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
• Support meal times, personal care routines and children's daily wellbeing.
• Work as part of the nursery team to provide outstanding care and education.

As we are a bilingual nursery, bilingual candidates would be highly desired, however this is not an essential requirement!
