Learning at Work Week is just around the corner—taking place from 12–18 May 2025—and here at Shaping Lives, we’re proud to be part of it.

This national celebration is all about shining a light on lifelong learning in the workplace. It’s a brilliant chance for employers and employees alike to pause, reflect, and think about how learning can open doors, build confidence, and create stronger, more connected teams.

Why it matters

Whether you’re just starting out in early years education, returning to work after a break, or leading a nursery team, you never stop learning. And Learning at Work Week is a reminder of just how important that journey is.

At Shaping Lives, we don’t see learning as a tick-box activity. We see it as a powerful tool to build skills, spark ideas, and grow careers. It’s at the heart of everything we do.

This year’s theme: Get Connected

The 2025 theme, Get Connected, is all about bringing people together—through learning, shared goals, and purpose. It encourages us to think about how we connect: with each other, with new knowledge, and with our role in shaping the lives of young children.

Learning that makes a difference

We’re proud to support early years professionals through tailored apprenticeship programmes that feel relevant, meaningful, and practical. Our training goes beyond theory—rooted in real nursery environments and designed to reflect everyday challenges and successes.

Every learner is different, so we create personal learning journeys that build on strengths and grow confidence. As well as help our apprentices, nursery staff and employers reach their full potential.

We do it with care, passion and know-how. Because we believe that supporting those who care for children is one of the most important jobs there is.
