Remarkably, they’re the only other mammals, apart from humans, that care for their young for as long as five years. These years are essential, teaching their younglings everything from survival skills to problem-solving, similar to the vital, formative experiences young children receive in early education. At Shaping Lives, we believe those early years set a foundation for lifelong learning, curiosity, and growth. And who better to represent our mission than an orangutan, an animal that shares our passion for guidance, growth, and learning?
